This is the very rare Disney Alice in Wonderland Duchess Doll in its original box. From 1951, this extremely scarce doll was issued for the original release of the animated film by the Disney Studios. Considering her age, this doll is in terrific condition. The box measures 11 inches by 10 inches. The doll is 8 inches high and doesn't appear to have ever been removed from the box. Her clothing, all original, has slightly discolored from age and her eyes seem to be locked in the sleep position. Considering the rarity of the doll, these may be minor issues to the serious Alice collector.
