Here is a limited edition set of fine porcelain dolls honoring the 1956 classic film "The King and I." The pair of stunning dolls were created by artist Patricia Ryan Brooks for the W.l. George Fine China Company more than 20 years ago. They bear her signature in the porcelain across their lower backs.
Anna is 15 inches tall, wears a gorgeous blue gown with gem accents, fit for a queen. Her hair is a lovely red and her face is stately, yet happy. Anna's hair has some hair wispy's but other than that both dolls appear to be in excellent condition.
The King is 16 inches tall. His head and upper body (half torso) is made of porcelain. His head is in a stationery position, permanently looking at his dance partner. His 1/2 legs, and 1/2 arms are made of porcelain. The remainder of his arms and legs are a well stuffed stretchy material. He is wearing his now famousl king's outfit of burgundy trimmed in gold. He has painted gold ankle bracelets on each ankle and he wears a fabric bracelet on his right wrist, along with the "ruby" earring in his left ear
