From General Mills' Cookie Crisp breakfast cereal, introduced in 1977 by Ralston Purina, here is Officer Krum aka The Cookie Cop. There were originally three characters. Cookie Crook wears a red hat with a chocolate chip cookie design and is otherwise dressed as your stereotypical burglar. He and his dog, Chip the Cookie Hound, try to steal Cookie Crisp, and were always caught by the Cookie Cop, named Officer Krum. After General Mills bought Cookie Crisp from Ralston in 1997, they subsequently killed off the cookie crook and Officer Krum.
